Pairs 2×2
Four players, two pairs. Partners sit opposite each other, and each heads for the other's point. Play goes round the table, pairs alternating. A pair has finished when both partners have; the first such pair wins.
If one player of a pair is out (deadline, own point after the deadline, resignation), the pair loses. Rated by the pair's place: each player is compared with the opponents, not the partner; pairs have their own rating scale.
