Rostov
Rostov (the Moscow pool) — a variant with a closed talon in raspasy and raspasy scored in whists.
- Plain scoring, but consolation is 10 whists per declarer's undertrick, whatever the game.
- Gentleman's and half-responsible whist. With one whister, whists for the defence's tricks are split with the passer; the whisters' shortfall costs half the game price in the mountain per trick.
- Raspasy. The talon is closed and not used; the first hand leads. The player with the fewest tricks writes 5 whists on each opponent for each of their tricks (two tied for fewest share it). Zero tricks — 1 into the pool; with four players the dealer always gets 1 into the pool. No progression and no amnesty; exit with any game.
- End of the pool — as in Sochi: everyone's pool closed, then help at 10 whists per point.
